With all the expense associated with furnishing a house or flat you can save a lot of money by searching and buying a chair that has been used by someone else. Now I am not saying that all chairs will be of a quality that you want in your home, some people will be getting rid of their chairs because they are nearing the end of their functional life, but there are some bargains out there for really good quality second hand furniture that is cheaper and nicer than buying new.

The pictures that they are advertising of their “vintage chairs” might look nice but they might have also been taken a long time ago before they got their new dog that loved to sit on it and had a clumsy uncle round who loves red wine. So, to be safe, go and inspect the second hand furniture. Have a look under the cushions and make sure that if there are wheels on the bottom that they are all still there are not at a strange angle.
